About

Century Spring Farms  is nestled along the Maitland river in Northern Huron County. A sprawling 16 room house invites visitors to relax before touring the 200 acre farm and newly renovated barn. Established in 1851, the first farm settled in Howick Township. The Zimmerman took ownership in 1868. Sanford grew up working with his father, they balanced dairy farming and standardbred breeding. Sanford and Jan’s love for horses prompted them to rebuild the farm in 2005, as a commercial broodmare facility.

Century Spring Farms is a full service broodmare facility, offering experienced, individual care in a peaceful rural setting.
Century Spring Farms are perfect for horses. Rolling hills and newly fenced pastures greet each mare on their arrival.
At Century Spring Farms we grow all of our own hay consisting of the highest quality alfalfa/timothy mixture designed specifically for our horses.
Our run-ins, roomy paddocks, large box stalls are just a few of the renovations made in 2005. A strict sanitization and vaccination program, plus custom mixed feed ensure a healthy environment for our boarders.

Quality care-Unique in the industry - is provided by Sanford and Jan, a husband and wife team, who over see all of Century Spring Farms daily operating procedures. Every horse we care for becomes part of our family.
